B3sixty has operated since 2010, providing specialist, independent investigations and dispute resolution services in employment and education.

B3sixty provides specialist, independent investigation, dispute resolution, and review, advice and support services for organisations. Initially providing services to Higher Education, B3sixty now has clients in all parts of Education including Further Education, Academy Trusts and Schools, the Not-for Profit Sector, NHS, Local Government, Police and Fire Services, Professional Services and in the Private Sector.

Directors

Clive Bane

BA (Hons), MA, Dip.IR, MBA, MCIPD, FRSA

Clive has worked in Human Resources in the UK and internationally for 45 years, latterly as HR Director at University of the Art London. He is longstanding Member of CIPD, a Fellow of the RSA, and has an MBA and a Diploma in Industrial Relations. Clive has a special interest and expertise in employment and industrial relations, both at a policy level and in “hands on” experience of implementing effective processes for preventing or dealing with disputes. He has either commissioned or conducted numerous investigations and has been involved in resolving many individual and collective disputes. Clive is the first point of contact for client enquiries.

Katie Hayday

BA (Hons)

Katie trained and practised as a solicitor in the litigation practice of Clifford Chance between 2002 and 2012. During this time she worked on a number of high profile insurance, reinsurance, contract and financial services disputes as well as financial services investigations. Katie was also involved in a number of mediations and arbitrations in the course of her work. With her legal background and experience of running a charity, Katie is particularly well placed to assist voluntary sector organisations in particular with their dispute resolution and investigation needs. As well as being a Director Katie focuses on running the Joshua Hayday Helping Hand Trust – a charity that supports families caring for children with life-limiting conditions.

Steve Hodder

BSc (Hons), MCIPD

Steve had a 30-year careers in Acas (Advisory Conciliation & Arbitration Service) culminating in his role as Director for London and National Conciliator. Steve is a long-term Member of CIPD, and author of the book Resolving Conflicts at Work: A Guide to Negotiation and Joint Problem-solving in the Workplace. Steve has had a long standing association with B3sixty, as an Associate and then Director, undertaking investigations, mediations and training. Having stepped back from direct work on assignments Steve is now a non-executive Director, and continues to offer his valuable employment relations experience to B3sixty.

Vijay Krishnarayan

BA(Hons), PG.Dip, MSc

Vijay is the former Director-General of the Commonwealth Foundation where he was a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in development processes. He has worked in senior management roles with governments and civil society for over 30 years and has considerable experience as a leader and facilitator, undertaking workplace investigations for a range of educational and public service organisations. Vijay has a special interest and expertise in the use of investigative reviews as a means of identifying and finding ways to overcome cultural issues that are blocking effective organisational working practices and behaviour. In 2022 Vijay was recognised for his lifetime contribution to upholding the human rights of LGBT+ people.

Linda Burke

BA, Dip HR, MCIPD

Linda has worked in Human Resources in the UK for over 30 years, delivering business growth initiatives, performance management, management development (ILM accredited), psychometric assessments, coaching, outplacement projects. In that time Linda has dealt with many difficult employment relations issues, including undertaking investigations. More recently she was the joint MD of solicitor practice, leading a team of thirty-five. Linda is a long standing member of the CIPD abd us qualified to use various psychometric tests and personality profiles. Her clients have ranged across all business sectors including retail, reinsurance, not-for-profit, B2B, e-commerce, manufacturing and legal. Since joining Direct Reports Ltd Linda has been instrumental in developing our second brand, Viewpoint HR.

Kim Frost

BA, MA, M.Litt, FCIPD,

Kim was a Director of HR for the University of London for over 15 years and is a past Chair of the Universities HR network. He is a member of the Board of Governors at the Health Sciences University and a member of the Executive Board of the PHES, an organisation providing support services to professional associations in Universities. Kim is an experienced investigator of disciplinaries and grievances involving professional staff and academics, and of student complaints. Kim leads the development and delivery of B3sixty’s training services.

Associates

We have a large team of Associates who all have considerable experience of investigations, dispute resolution and related review, advisory and support services. This enables B3sixty to provide a timely and comprehensive service, both geographically and across sectors.

Our Associates have been senior managers and professional with a range of backgrounds. Between them they have experience and expertise across all parts of education, central and local government, the NHS, professional services and in not-for-profit organisations.

In addition to our induction process all Associates are offered cpd through our twice-yearly development days or specific training events (e.g. trauma-informed interviewing).

Direct Reports Ltd was established in 2010 and is the parent company of B3sixty.

Through Direct Reports we have always provided more general HR consultancy particularly in the area of practical support for organisational change. Previously independent, Viewpoint HR had been delivering a comprehensive range of HR services across diverse business sectors for eight years. In 2024, as part of our growth and development, VHR became a second brand and an integral part of Direct Reports Ltd, further enhancing our ability to provide tailored and effective HR/ER solutions.
