EHRC gives priority to tackling sexual harassment

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)  has published its priority themes for 2024/25. Amongst these is “Tackling sexual harassment” with a campaign focussing on the implementation of the positive duty to prevent sexual harassment, including updating and consulting on technical guidance. The EHRC will also consider where regulatory action is required to tackle breaches when the new duty comes into force on 26 October. Their Preventing Sexual Harassment at Work Toolkit for the hospitality sector may also be adapted for other sectors.
