Experience of toxic workplaces extensive, study shows

A study by online printer Instaprint has found that 70% of the  employees responding to their survey had worked in a toxic workplace environment at some stage of their career. Key identifiers of such an environment included bullying (46%), passive aggressive communications (46%), cliquey behaviour (37%), and blatant favouritism for certain colleagues by those within a more senior role (35%).

More than half of respondents (56%) said they would quit their job if they felt the workplace culture was not good, with female employees 8% more likely than men to do.
